Out of Print (and a sneak peek at my next project)

In February of last year I put out a film called "Out of Print" on YouTube and TMUnderground. But this past October my google account was hacked and deleted, along with all of my uploads to TMU through YouTube. I had a couple of things backed up but most of them were lost, including Out of Print. But when I got back onto TMUnderground about a week and a half ago, my good friend Joe Harp told me he had a copy of it saved! So now it's finally back online!

Plot: It's a comedy/drama that centers around Scott Weston (played by Joe Harp, who I just mentioned) who's at the top of his game as the head writer of the biggest newspaper of New York City! But he's suddenly fired for sleeping on the job, and the movie focuses on the aftermath of that. From his dopey dad, his condescending former co-worker and horrible boss, things are not going so well for Scott.

Looking back after not seeing this movie for many months, there's a lot I wish I had done better. I wish I had fleshed out the plot a little better and touched up the script a bit more. But for my first huge The Movies project I think it's pretty well made and I certainly had a blast making it. The cast made it come alive for sure, they were excellent, even if I think the script was just okay in retrospect. Let me know what you think!

I'm also working on another project with the movies, a silent film called "Gone Missing" about a hobbyist photographer who goes out in the wilderness to get peace and quiet, and to take photos of nature. But while out there he suffers a terrible injury. Here's a sneak peek of it here!
