Hola a todos y muchas gracias de antemano. Hace muchísimos años jugaba al The Movies y recuerdo que sabía como sacar el makeup genérico para poner caras de actores reales a los del juego y también que sacaba las texturas de costumes para editarlas en Photoshop y después podía ponerlas en el juego pero no recuerdo cómo hacerlo. Llevo horas intentándolo y ya me estoy mordiendo las uñas. ¿Alguna ayudita, por favor? 87

Aquí te dejo un par de tutoriales del MED para extraer cosas y modificar un poco básico.

Al extraer pues tendrás que buscar la textura head que es la cabeza, aunque casi te viene más fácil descargarte algún makeup de la zona descargas y modificiarlo en photoshop.

Ya los he estado mirando, pero soy un poco torpe con todo esto. A ver, sé cómo extraer cualquier textura, pero no sé exactamente cuál es el archivo del makeup genérico, aunque le echaré un vistazo a las descargas, como me has dicho.

En cuanto a los costumes, yo lo que quiero es, por ejemplo, sacar un vestido y editarlo con Photoshop y luego incorporarlo al juego. Es decir, no quiero retexturarlo con el MED, sino con el Photoshop, pero no sé sacar el vestido de manera que pueda editarlo con Photoshop ni sabría después cómo guardarlo ni nada.

nono, con el med no se retextura, lo que te explica es como extraer la textura, y luego como volverla a meter. (los props si se retexturan pero sustituyendo texturas ya metidas, pero lo que es pintarlo a tu gusto se hace fuera no en el med)

El tema costume hay un tutorial de media hora que lo explica todo con pelos y señales.

Sigue el tutorial donde sale para extraer archivos y texturas y busca para extraer o makeup o head y te debe de salir para extraer, y sino como te digo, cualquiera que haya en descarga te vale como base para modificarlo.

Vale, vale, muchas gracias. Pero me salen en archivo .dds y el photoshop no me lo reconoce ni lo abre. Además, por más que busco los mup_mask solo me salen las pinturas faciales, las he extraído todas y ninguna es la imagen base. Estoy desesperado 115

Extraigo el mup_mask_v00 pero ya empieza con la primera pintura facial blanca. ¿Alguien podría ayudarme facilitándome la cara normal sin retocar, por favor?

Ok, here is what I would do.

First I would get a free software that change dds into png and png into dds, for me it's Aorta, it works fine, but I'm on Mac and I don't know which software PC users can use.

Second, I'll take any face texture and make the change on it, making the mouth eyes and nose match the existing texture.

Third, save it as "mup_mask_v19.png" then "mup_mask_v19.dds", following the numbers in the game. Then I would create a "mup_body_v19.dds" to make sure I have the same skin color on the body and the head.


Fourth, put the textures in Textures/Makeup file.

That's it, hope it helps.

Yes, it helped me very much, thank you! It has become clearer to me but the main problem is that I can't find a generic face. When I extract the file "mup_mask_v00.dds", it isn't generic, it's the first makeup that appears in the game and I don't know how to find a face without makeup that guides me.
