Another costume getting close... Only missing a belt, scabbard and a sword.

This is the way I make animated latex heads, it's probably a bit more work, but it's the way that works best in my opinion.

When I use a model from the game and just modify it a bit or even a lot, there usually is only some tweaks to do, so I just use weight paint but, when making an animated latex head with a model that is not from the the game, here is what I do.

First I append a basic game head and try to make the head I want to import in the game the closest to the game model.  Sometimes it's pretty easy to get very close but other times it's practically impossible to do, just do your best.  


I always duplicate the bottom part of the neck and cut the bottom part of the foreign model and then make the foreign model neck fit with the bottom part of neck from the game.


Now on to the weights copy part.

First I cut the whole face off (letting the inside of the eyes with the rest of the head)


Then I split the face in 3 other parts.


I then fit each parts of the game face to the foreign head as close as possible, (using the proportional editing tool works great for this).

Then I make the same cuts on the foreign head, after that, I copy weights from the game model to each corresponding parts.  
Once this is done, I delete all the game head parts and re join the foreign head parts into one model, I go into edit mode and remove doubles.  
When this is done, I check how the face react when I move the bones and adjust with weight paint things that don't work like it should.

To finish I use the clean mesh script in edit mode.
