Strait is the Gate and Narrow is the Way

For the past few weeks I have been working on a version of the msh_import_2009 script that will run on Blender 2.79b.  The project was begun by Tarison (aka Niktatorship) in August of 2019.  After he decided not to pursue it, I kept a copy of his original script, tmu_module_wrapper.  This month, I dug out the script and started a serious attempt to complete the upgrade.  Considerable progress has been made in the last few weeks.  I can load a costume mesh or a prop directly into blender 2.79b  At this point, the script builds the mesh object, configures the skeleton and defines the UVmap.  

The texture files are imported into the blend, but you have to manually add the materials and configure the textures to link the images to the mesh using the blender properties tabs.

Any help will be appreciated.  Perhaps someone with the requisite experience and knowledge could work on a version for blender 2.92.  It is my hope that the upgrade from 2.79b to 2.92 will be less of a giant leap.  

The module TMconst is not required for this version because its content is embedded in the working script.

When blender 3.0 appears, God help us all!

An alpha version of msh import script for blender 2.79 is now available.  The script will import costume and prop meshes, but not set meshes.
